Welcome Rose!  I don't twitter either...tried it once and deleted my account after 30 minutes!    I took a look at your shop.  You have some really nice jewelry, reasonable prices, awesome descriptions and fantastic pics.  You may consider changing your avatar though...I wasn't too sure what it was.    You have awesome displays for your jewelry but there is one item pic which you may consider changing.  It's the one for Triple the Beauty---I thinks it needs more contrast so the beads show up better.  Gosh, I wish I had your talent for taking pics!  I'm just now beginning to use more props and experimenting with different angles...someday I'll get it right!

As far as bead stores are concerned I haven't been to any since i've lived here. I know there's some around, and in fact there's one right down the street from where I used to work but I never went in! How lame. I haven't had to purchase beads of any sort since i moved here, I still have plenty in my boxes ( I make hemp jewelry) So i haven't needed to worry about it. I'll see what I can find and give you some suggestions.

I believe it is a minimum of 25 items. We’ve been thinking about what we could send; definitely a mini version of what we make. But we are keeping it in mind. The website is pretty interesting.

Rose,  While on your Etsy shop page,  right click on your avatar and then click on "Copy Image Location"    Come to your profile page on this site and then paste the info.  It should work!

Edit:  A few day ago, I didn't realize that you were having difficulties adding your avatar---I thought you were having a problem adding your shop link to your signature.

Rose, Did you try the recommendation in my last post?  It should work for downloading your avatar to your profile--that's how I did mine.

Rose, When you click on the "copy image location" and go to your profile,  right click in the URL box then click on "Paste."  You should see your avatar's URL address in the box. I hope!!

Hi. Can y'all tell a big difference in your sales once you started using twitter and the other social sites? I am just old enough not to be very familiar with all of that and have not utilized them yet.

I don;t twitter either...and I'm very rarely on facebook, but I did make a facebook page for my shop...I just don't have time in my day to do that stuff...I'd rather spend my time making stuff!!  Maybe that's why I'm on the D list!! ;)

I have contacted a local funky crafty type store in my area to see if they liked my stuff/thought it would be good for their shop...and I heard back from them!!!!  So, something may be in the works on that...I'll keep you posted!!

I would also suggest signing up for twitpic.com. It can automatically tweet images you upload there, and you can get a ton of views that way!

I have been on Twitter about 5 days...I don't see how it is useful- well as in, I don't know how you connect with people !!! I have no one following me ! I don't really understand it...I'm used to Facebook...is it like trying to find your friends on Twitter...? And I have a Flickr account but that is a great mystery too !!!!! ARRGGHHHHH!!!!!!! sigh !
