This may be a long-shot, but I am interested in having 2 sleep sacks made for my boys. In the UK, sleep sacks are very popular and can be purchased for kids all the way up to about 6. They are wonderful for wiggly sleepers who can't keep their covers on! My sons have outgrown the ones they used last year so I'd love to get new ones.
IMO, the above link is the best brand and the cutest patterns. However, there's no way I can pay the UK price, let alone what it converts to in dollars (about $54 each). And, since I'm now back in the US, even trying to get them on Ebay is a real hassle.
Do any of you expert sewers think you can do them for around $35-$40 each or am I crazy? I'd certainly be willing to do trade as well, be it some of my picture mats and ornaments, Christmas cards or some other kind of card (which I do by request), or place mats (which have yet to show up in my shop but we're working on!).
If interested, email me at

Thanks!

How about something out of polar fleece???? Maybe with the bottom open for walking in???

Polar fleece is fine, I'm open to fabric suggestions. My younger son wouldn't need any opening as he's still in diapers. For the 3 year old, I need to think. He's not potty trained yet and had no problem walking a bit in the ones like I linked to above, but I know for the older children, that company does eventually put foot holes in them!
