Hi All,
I created this forum so that we have a place to post requests for items. With Christmas coming up it would be nice to purchase (and or trade) from D-listers.

Ok I guess I'll start.
Wondering what it might cost to have someone make some adult footed pjs. I think the kids kind are called Dr. Dentons (if I am right). They don't need the grippy tread on the bottom. Wanted to give a pair to my sister in law. If there is fleece fabric that has anything bicycle that would be even better. (She designs mt bike trails)

I always feel that little boys get so much less attention in the cute clothes dept than little girls. I'm always on the look out for cute and unique, but boy-ish things for them. I'm short on cash, but now that I have a job, some new clothes will soon be a priority. My older son is also very thin so getting his waist size for pants is a huge ordeal for us.
There are a few other things I'm thinking about so will post back later...

I agree that little boys get the short end of the stick when it comes to cute stuff. My mother in law makes really cute boy monogrammed t shirts and I will be listing boy beanies for winter in the shop soon.

Ditto on the boys clothes. My son is 5 and I am always on the lookout for something boyish but still cute. There are not many years lest I can make him wear what I want him to.

Well I only have a couple of pairs of pants for boys on my site but maybe I should consider making more? My son loves the clothes I make for him (he is 4). I am always wondering as well if parents prefer full outfits or if random pieces are OK as well.

Both! My boys (3-1/2 and 18 months) only really wear 'outfits' for special events. But to have a collection of pants and shirts that go with multiple things would be great - i.e. a shirt with a great applique that can be worn with blue jeans, navy pants, or tan pants.
Also, no white shirts for boys!! They *never* stay clean!
I also like to get maximum wear out of short sleeved tees by putting them over long sleeved tees in the fall and warmer winter days.

Thanks twocatscreative! I think I will try to do some boys clothes now since there seems to be a lot of interest. I will be putting up some boys shoes soon though.
LOL at the white shirt. I can't even put white anything on my daughter. She is the MESSIEST girl!

I love separates for my son. Then if he messes up his shirt, I can just change that rather than a whole outfit (although I loved those one piece short outfits when he was little). Oh, and I agree...no white! My mother-in-law buys all white outfits for both kids. What is she thinking??
One thing that I'm always looking for for my son is pants with an adjustable waist. He's really tall but thin, so I have to go up a size for length but then the pants are too big in the waist. So I either need to get him a belt (not ideal for a 2 year old) or find more adjustable waist pants. And the "drawstring" on some of the sweat pants and track pants is fake, so it doesn't sinch. What's up with that?

Nicole, I know exactly what you mean! My son is about average height, but very thin. We have a whole pile of pants we need to take tucks in because they are all too big in the waist. On top of that, we're starting potty training so he needs pants he can get off and on easily.
Fake drawstring = useless!

I think it's a safety thing with the fake drawstrings. But I suppose adjustable waists are possible. I'll look into that. Thanks ladies!

Ok so for you jewelry people, I was wondering if anyone could come up with some sort of necklace that has a fairy pendant and if there are any beads incorporated I would want those to be purple. I have no specific pattern or way that I want it to be, i'm pretty much open to your creative interpretation with that. I do know that it doesn't need to be super fancy, it's for my friend and she likes simple things. I'm ideally looking to spend no more than about $15 including shipping.

Christy, that sounds like something that would be up my alley. Maybe something like this one from my shop, except with the fairy where the flower charm is?
How soon would you need it?

Oh man I love that! I think she would love that as well Well i'm looking to have it for her as a christmas gift...well...one of the gifts. So I have time before I need it. She loves fairies, so some sort of fairy pendant that's silver or pewter in color would be perfect just no yellow gold tone items. *yuck* lol I love the overall design of that necklace so that general idea just replacing the pendant I think would be super! Thanks!!

ok, cool, I was afraid you were going to say you needed it in a week, hahahaha. Great, this gives me time to find the perfect fairy charm as I don't have one on hand at the moment. I don't do gold either so no problem there. I'll be in touch!

I make all kinds of crocheted hats, from newborn to Xtra Large Men's hats (and neckwarmers). I would be happy to make a boys hat-newsie? Earflap? Touque? Your choice-depending on the size (measuring around head) the price would be $15-$20 plus shipping-these are non alergenic, non-sheep's wool hats, so no itching, pilling, shrinkage, etc. I'm in Canada so shipping is a bit higher, but for a little boy sized hat, I could pack it very flat and keep the shipping costs down, as long as you were not determined to have fancy packaging...

Hi Sven,
I am going to a thing the night before... And I am expecting to be in a world of pain the next day. However, if I make a swift recovery I will come and watch spur of the moment.
