Ironically the shop I sold to is on the very street that Zachary's pizza is on.  Maybe I'll have lunch there after my meeting.

Thanks everyone for the support.  I think this board kept me sane through the no sales so that I could walk into that shop with my head high.

I sold a towel set to my mother in law, she insisted that she pay full price and who am I to argue, she wants a whole bunch of sets that are all holiday themed thanksgiving, christmas, valentines, 4th of july etc. I sent her the halloween ones today, will be working on the thanksgiving ones soon and then will start on christmas. I'm really excited! Beyond that she's been spreading my shop around to other family and friends!!

I get so excited when I read that people are having sales. It really is a great thing to know that things are changing for everyone! Granted we may not be doing 10+ sales a week but sales are sales and we have to start somewhere!

Yay everyone!!  Christy, that's awesome about your mother-in-law.  Maybe you could put a listing on your site for a set of holiday towels and put one in for each of the major holidays (halloween, thanksgiving, christmas, easter, valentines day, 4th of July) or an all seasons pack (1 for spring, summer, fall, and winter).

So I met with a shopowner in Berkeley today.  She is taking 11 of my things.  (granted at somewhat reduced prices)  It totally wipes me out.  I had to put my shop on vacation so I can start cranking things out again.  Is there such thing as too much of a good thing.  So until further notice I am knitting knitting knitting.  I will be checking the board though.

I don't expect I will be making very many sales in the near future. I am keeping everything I am making for 2 upcoming craft shows.
