Ok so I found this amazing banner creator, if anyone needs a new banner use this one because it's awesome! You can upload your own picture to use for a background which is great. It has a temporary watermark on it during creation but never fear it won't be there when you get the final product. If anyone needs help using it let me know and i'll give ya a hand!!

I don't know if you guys already know about this but I love this tool! It's the Heart-O-Matic! It tells you how many shop hearts you have and how many individual item hearts as well, it even breaks down your item views

YEAH!! So glad to be a part of this. I found a really cool website that has 91 ways to promote your etsy shop. I haven't tried them all but many are free.

Yeah that would probably help. I'll figure out how to send them an email telling them about our band of misfits and kind of highlighting us as people with low sales (ugh i hate the sound of that) for them to take into consideration!

So once our team is all set up on Etsy, will we have a site like a team store that will show all of our items together? It would be fun to post it various places and promote all of us at once.

IngaStitch- That would be something we could think about in the future, and really if that's done it's up to us to make that decision. What will happen is once the team is approved by Etsy I will develop a "team tag" Etsy recognizes those differently and once a person buys from one of us let them know that we work as a team and to use the "team tag" to check out some of the other shops. Make sense? It's just really difficult to do a team shop at first since money would have to go to one paypal, and then be split accordingly, there would have to be a ton of trust in one person to do that.

have any of you tried sending your poduct pictures to www.handmade.com ?
they'll upload a picture of yours for free in their gallery, and people can vote for it. it's pretty good just to have your items online at different places.

I'm hyperventilating now 'cause my cozies, which are currently listed in the Gift Guide, are now featured on the front page. They were selected by Etsy using the search word "rust." Now I would never have thought to use the word "rust" as a tag, but I used this link to find recommended tags:
I think I did a tag search on "orange" & the word "rust" was really popular....guess it worked!!
